Crowns for baby teeth
At our practice, we believe in conservative treatment whenever possible. However, there are times when placing a crown becomes necessary to protect a tooth. This may occur when cavities compromise the tooth's integrity, after nerve treatment, or when a crown offers greater longevity compared to a filling.
Stainless steel crowns are used on baby teeth due to their strength and longevity. For patients who prioritize aesthetics, we offer zirconia crowns for the front teeth. It is important to note that zirconia crowns may not be covered by all insurance plans.
